We all know about chemical peel, but not all of us want to go to facial and some of us even afraid to do this procedure. Chemical peel results can be a bit intimidating, because of possible skin irritation. Sound scary, right?
If you don’t know, light, medium or deep chemical peels are a popular nonsurgical cosmetic procedure used to peel away the skin’s top layer to improve sun-damaged, unevenly pigmented and wrinkled skin. Improving the evenness of color and texture in your skin creates a youthful look and restores a healthy, luminous and radiant appearance.
The most superficial peels are those using alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), such as glycolic, lactic or fruit acid. AHA peels can reduce the effects of aging and sun damage including fine wrinkling and brown spots. Sometimes a single treatment with an AHA peel will give your skin a fresher, healthier appearance and a radiant glow. Various concentrations of an AHA may be applied weekly or at longer intervals to further improve the texture of your skin. Luckily we live in a very wonderful time then we can do such a procedure at home.
And after testing Exuviance Performance Peel AP25 for last two weeks I must say I was surprised the peel can be actually so safe and you can be sure this Peel is nothing to worry about when trying!

The Exuviance Performance Peel AP25 contains 12 peels (6 week supply). Exuviance recommends leaving the exfoliating serum on the skin no longer than 10 minutes, and I always follow that direction.
First, cleanse the face with a gentle with an effective cleanser.
Step 1 Activator: Apply the Activator pad to clean dry skin avoiding lips eyes and nostrils. Allow the Activator to remain on skin for up to 10 minutes. Monitor your skin’s response to the peel. If skin becomes irritated, decrease the amount of time the Activator remains on the skin and build up to 10-minute increments.
Step 2 Neutralizer: Apply the Neutralizer to the entire face. Rinse face thoroughly with warm water.
The activator pad causes a slight stinging sensation when applied, but don’t worry, this feeling goes away in a few seconds and it leaves no marks or redness after the treatment.
After I wipe my face with the Step 2 pad, I immediately apply a hydrating toner and layer of a serum with Hyaluronic Acid – you can read my review here about the NeoStrata SKIN ACTIVE Tri-Therapy Lifting Serum I use right now.
Exuviance Performance Peel AP25 contains a 25% blend of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and Polyhydroxy Acids (PHA) including Glycolic Acid, Mandelic Acid, and Gluconolactone.

I have combination/dehydrated oily skin type, and currently, my biggest concern is post-acne hyperpigmentation;( As for the result, I find these convenient, individually-wrapped exfoliating pads pretty effective and finally, I have a healthy-looking skin. I currently use Exuviance Performance Peel AP25 once or twice a week in the evening to refine the skin’s texture.
For those looking to address aging skin or a dull complexion, I highly recommend adding this product to their regimen. It’s safe and easy to use at home.
